This powerful program features Nightfall Rhapsody: Concerto for Bansuri, Saxophone, Tabla, Guitar, Bass, Kathak Dancer, and Orchestra by Drew Zaremba, Shruti Rajasekar’s Son of Pandu, Anoushka Shankar’s Chasing Shadows, and AR Rahman’s Chaiyya Chaiyya alongside complementary works provided by the orchestra, including selections from Ravel, Stravinsky, and Vaughan Williams.
Audiences will be transported on a journey through time and place, as traditional Indian ragas merge with Western orchestral grandeur, offering a fresh and evocative take on classical music.
